As an option you can study these words before you start the game - vegetables.
Vegetables are very common in the UK due to the wet climate. Potato salad is made with mayonnaise and it's delicious. We often eat radishes because we like their spicy taste and wild asparagus is better than when it's greenhouse produced. Broccoli is often called purple sprouting broccoli. Carrot cake is sweet not savoury. You can do lots of things with tomatoes, even make tomato juice. Sliced cucumber is nice in a salad and so is sweetcorn, which is also called corn on the cob. Boiled cabbage is very common on the English dinner table. Cauliflower cheese is another favourite dish. A common dessert in the UK is rhubarb tart. Lovely!
