Exercise on how to make the comparative of adverbs in English.

Explanation of comparatives of adverbs...

Make comparative sentences of the adverbs in brackets ( ). Use a positive comparative (example 1) or, when you see the " - ", use a negative comparative (example 2).

Example 1
She dresses (attractively) than her friends.

more attractively   

Example 2
John spoke (- confidently) when the expert arrived.

less confidently   

1) He drives (quickly) when he's with his girlfriend.

2) We thought Rafael sang (well) last night.
